Black Missionaries Band and Anthony Makondetsa will on 7th April perform at Club 24/7 at Chileka roundabout in Blantyre to present reggae music under the theme “Easter Roots Vibes” as one way of celebrating Easter.

In an interview with Malawi News Agency, event organiser Anjilu Fumulani who is also Black Missionaries’ band leader said they have organised the event as a way of remembering, honoring Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.

He added that it is important to commemorate Easter with reggae music concert as well as share messages of goodwill to people and he appealed for a large patronage from all reggae lovers .

Anthony Makondetsa said it is an honor for him to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ through this event.

One of the Black missionaries fans Alfred Makoka said he is ready to celebrate this day with Anthony and the Black Missionaries saying he expects good music from the band as well as other supporting artists who will perform at the show.
