By Fatsani Mulongoti MANA

In a bid to rekindle the fight against HIV and AIDS in the country, various local artists have collaborated in a song ‘Ndizotheka,’ to spread more awareness on the pandemic.

The song which features artists of different genres patronised a special feast at the residence of US ambassador to Malawi, David Young, in commemoration of America’s Independence Day and Juneteenth.

In his remarks, Young commended the song citing that it will open people’s eyes especially among the youth and mobilise them to take a decisive step in a fight against HIV.

“Messages of this kind are crucial in fighting HIV and music is a crucial tool in disseminating such information,” he said.

Nzotheka has combined Skeffa Chimoto, Sangie, Tay Grin, Suffix, Ester Chitheka, Praise Umali, Maggie, Paul Kachala plus Young DJ(USA).
